To all the young ladies looking so desperately to be loved and accepted so they give up their most important asset- their body!
How I love my body! Seriously. So much so that I guard it so jealously that I can't stand displaying my most intimate areas anyhow to anyone and everyone neither will I ever dream of giving it to another man who isn't my husband. That's how precious my body is. I know who I am. I know my worth. I am priceless!
Here's my mentality: My body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit, meant for the Lord alone...and for my husband, because I am one with him. Apart from these two, nobody else can access my body.
When you love your body ,value and respect it then even to show off your cleavage, your upper thighs, your butt crack, your navel or any of your privates in public will become a taboo for you. In fact, you won't feel comfortable unless you are properly dressed outside. That's how far I have come. I cover up because I know I am extraordinary. An uncommon woman and that is who you are also. God says so. Don't cheapen yourself.
Your body is the greatest gift you can give to any man. It's your most precious and private property. Your trophy. You don't just give it to every Tom, Dick and Harry that struts along. You reserve it for that man who loves you enough to marry you, not the one who just wants to use you and dump you then goes off to marry a 'good' girl for to him you are no wife material.
When you are in a relationship and make up your mind to guard this precious gift, the man may not admit it but in truth he respects you for your integrity. It shows him you aren't easy.
Dubious men may resort to taunting you about not allowing them have sex with you... just laugh. They are only frustrated they can't access your body. Such men are bad news. It's not love that they have for you, it's lust. A healthy relationship that leads to marriage doesn't thrive on sex. So don't listen to anyone who says that sex is a must requirement in a romantic relationship. It's a lie. In fact, I permit you not to say yes to the proposal of any man who demands sex from you, even if he is a youth pastor in your church!
Don't look for love in the wrong places. You will only end up getting hurt. True love is found only in Jesus. Allow Him lead you. When you value yourself, men will also learn to value you.
