WORD PEDDLERS ON THE PROWL! BEWARE!

There are men on the prowl who worm their way into people's homes to take advantage of weak women. Through so called prophecies, they brainwash them and plant fears in their hearts in the bid to extort money from them. They demand payment for so called deliverance prayers in God's name. They are specialists in sowing discord and suspicion in marriages and breaking homes. These so called Pastors in the false pretense to know God's Word, swindle their way into people's lives. It is actually a form of business where you even pay for consultation before you see the 'Pastor'. And when you go in, they prophesy doom and destruction to intimidate you to fear. In doing this they succeed in enslaving you by it and destroy your relationship with everyone around you, especially those closest to you. Many have fallen for this guise. But does the Spirit of God plant fear in people hearts? Does He sow discord in people's homes? Does He tear down marriages? When you know the answers to these question, then you will be able to test all spirits.

So be careful when you patronize these 'ministries', these word peddlers who sell God's Word for profit. They are everywhere, the Power ministry,Deliverance Corner ministry even Jehovah Sharp Sharp ministry! That's why it's so important you know God's Word for yourself so that you won't be swayed by every wind of doctrine, rather you will weigh everything that you hear from the pulpit with what you've read from your Bible. Don't allow Satan play you because of your ignorance and destroy the precious relationships you have nurtured all these years.
A certain woman was told her husband not only was he having an affair but he also was a cultist and the 'Pastor' demanded N50,000 to pray for her. This so called prophecy brought trouble into her once peaceful home and made this naive woman paranoid. She did all she could to gather this money that she doesn't even have! Over the years, she had patronized these ministries because she loved her family and wanted to keep praying for them. She was a wonderful mother with a zeal. But beware of having a zeal without knowledge.It can be self destructive. These 'Pastors' don't preach salvation like every genuine man of God does. They are more or less like juju priests who proffer solutions in exchange for your money but the difference is that they do it in the guise of Christianity."Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God." (2 Cor 2:7)

A young lady walked in to see the 'Pastor' after she had paid a consultation fee of N200. "Open your palms.", the 'Pastor' instructed her and she obeyed. "Are you pregnant?", the Pastor inquired. "Yes" the young lady replied even though she was not. "Yes,I was shown you are pregnant. Pay the sum of N10,000 before the end of today so we can pray for you else something may happen to your pregnancy.", the fake Pastor quipped. Dazed, the young lady left and never went back again.
Wake up dear Christians! Be sober and vigilant. This is no time to sleep. Know God's Word for yourself and build up your spiritual arsenal. When Jesus was asleep in the boat and the storms arose threatening to sink it, Jesus slept on. In fear, His disciples after having exhausted their skills and strength went to Him. Waking Him up, they asked Him, "Lord do you not care that we die?!" Jesus stood up and simply commanded the waves and the storm to be still and they obeyed...instantly. Jesus must have been obviously disappointed when He turned to His disciples and said, "Oh ye men of little faith. How long should I continue with you?". Listen. For almost three years, these men had been with Jesus and seen what He could do. All those years, it was the Lord's desire that they should be able to stand for themselves without always running to Him. Jesus wanted them to grow up spiritually and take authority in His Name as matured men, over every situation that comes their way instead of scampering like children in the face of every little challenge. God doesn't want to raise children, even though at some point in our christian walk we were children. It's a stage.

But God doesn't want you to remain a child. He wants you to grow into a son! He wants you to be spiritually matured, knowing God's Word for yourself so that you don't live by fear but by faith. How can you be deceived when you know God's Word? Any prophecy or revelation given to you by any Pastor which does not coincide with God's Word is not from God! Having a spiritual father, someone who is more matured spiritually than you, is okay but it's important you also train your spirit to maturity so that you can be dependent on God's Spirit and not on your Pastor. Many of these 'pastors' have taken advantage of their congregation's ignorance to steal their way into their homes, enslave them by fearful prophecies in order to get into their pockets. Be conscious of these times. Jesus is coming soon!

SPIRITUAL DECAY IN CHURCH

In the church
There is spiritual decay
Confusion besets many
They can't tell their right from their left
Men steal in the name of God
People are defrauded
Severally putting the Lord to test
Misrepresenting the testimony that they bear
Adultery even among the shepherds of the flock
Confusion and perplexity in the midst of the sheep
Thus fulfilling the adage
Strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter
The church is busy
Busy doing nothing
They are in hot pursuit for the wind
Only to reap whirl wind
Evangelism is pushed to the background
Fundraising is brought to lime light
We forget so easily
That Jesus is the reason
For our existence
He alone is our priority
Nothing takes His place
Self proclaimed men of God
Bring disgrace to the Name
The world mocks us
The Name of our God profaned
Because of the very people
Who ought to bear His Name
Slowly,we drift away
Gradually missing it
The whole point of why we were called
To shine forth as light
Being a city set upon a hill
Purposely kept there by God
In view for all to see
Yet we have chosen to recoil
And retreat into the shells
Of immorality, stagnancy and hypocrisy
Christian life has become a myth
Holiness, now fictitious
Painting the righteous life as unachievable
Grace is disdained
But out of this seeming darkness
Threatening to envelope the Church
Comes forth light
For surely there will be a shaking
And only the permanent will remain
The remnant,the few, the chosen
Men who unadulteratedly
Serve God
Not pretentiously but truly
Worshiping God with all their hearts
Making the difference where many had failed
Pointing men to this God
Who is so real, so true, so pure and forever righteous !


WHERE NUDITY IS FASHION AND SEX SELLS

Do you notice a growing trend of nude fashion these days? Women feel no shame in exposing their breasts or any of their private assets for the world to see. Private things are no more kept private and every sense of morality are in quick extinction. Now, it's all about sensuality and sex appeal. Everywhere you turn whether on TV, the billboards ,posters, on red carpet even in your office, nudity is found. Day by day, the environment is getting more and more unhealthy for our children and even for you. In our world as it is, it's sex that sells. Check out the movies or the music videos, 95% of the secular entertainment have explicit materials of naked, pseudo naked or half naked women in them. You know why? That's what keeps the eyes glued to the screen. It keeps people attracted and the money rolling in. Imagine you pass by a billboard with an image of a near nude lady, it will take the grace of God for you not to look a second time. Everything sex is catchy, subtle,seductive and alluring. With this sex appeal stuff becoming the pattern in the world, the craze to have a perfect figure is also en vogue especially in the entertainment industry.

So you see celebrities like Kim Kardashian, who became popular precisely because of her figure, going on Atkins diet (as she said)just to return to her figure after child birth. She is just one among many other female celebs. They go extremes just to achieve cheap and temporal popularity that won't last beyond this world rather than pursuing eternal things.(It's really a pity). Sex appeal have so been idolized among these people just as fame, wealth and affluence. So for these female stars to retain their youthful look it's all about liposuction, breast enlargement, butt enlargement and botox injections.
I walked into a film store one day to purchase a movie. On one side of the store were gospel music CDs and messages. On the other side were secular movies. Displayed with these movies were pornographic movies as well. I turned to the woman attending to me and asked her why. She told me that porn was what sold. They were the ones her customers preferred to buy. In other words, they make the most money selling pornography. Sex sells! Then I said to her, "Is that what you'd tell Jesus in the end when He asks you why you are selling pornographic movies?" That woman wasn't thinking of eternity, she was thinking of her pocket.
Be sober, be vigilant. Your enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking for whom to devour (1 Pet 5:8).

HOMOSEXUALITY: PERVERSION OR FREEDOM?

The bisexual LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Tran-sexual) coordinator in Nigeria claims that being gay is as natural as natural being left-handed ."It's in the genes. We were born this way.", they say in a bid to justify their actions. Thus they push for world wide acceptance and gradually, as it is, the world is absorbing them. The movement is fast spreading across the globe. As it spreads, so does their boldness too. Some places in the U.S.,Canada and certain other nations up to about ten nations in the world, homosexuality has been accepted and legalized. Now, if the world would legalize homosexuality, wouldn't they in the same vane do the same for pedophilia and bestiality ? Are they not in the same category? A man is sexually attracted to a man,a man is attracted to a child and the other is attracted to a beast, what's the difference?
So if tomorrow a pedophile comes up pushing for legalization just like the gays are doing now, with the usual claim of being 'born this way', that is, to be sexually attracted to children just as gays claim natural tendencies to be attracted to same sex, should they be absorbed, accepted and tolerated? Should they be given the freedom to practice their so called sexuality? Does it make it right or moral to do it? If pedophilia is outlawed, if it is a crime, in every reasonable sense of word, so is homosexuality.
Homosexuality and the likes, are not medical. They are simply demonic. The Devil rebels against everything that is righteous. He loves to disturb the natural order of things and bring in the unnatural. That's why in Roman's 1:27, the Bible talks about men giving up natural relations with women to start lusting after their own sex. This is an abomination. A clear cut rebellion! Knowing that sex is one very easy sin to give into,it has over time become Satan's viable tool to bring men down even strong men! Pro 7:26, "For she has cast down many wounded, and all who were slain by her were strong men.' So sexual perversion or deviance, call it what you like, e.g homosexuality,lesbianism, bisexuality, transsexualism,transvestism,androgyny etc, as long as one engages in it, is an express satanic worship. But for anyone who has found himself or herself in this trap, there is hope for you. There is only one sure way out:JESUS. He wants to help you if you allow Him.
