A village in Indonesia has devised a smart way to keep people indoors during the Covid-19 pandemic. They employed fake ghosts - ‘pocong’ or shrouded ghosts believed to be legendary figures said to represent the souls of dead people trapped in their funeral shrouds.  These fake ghosts are actually youths who are trying to help the village leaders in keeping the villagers inside for their own good. Their innovative plan is said to be achieving the intended result.

More pictures below *This reminds me of Hollywood movies where scientists create dangerous viruses or pathogens or machines etc which ends up destroying the population.  And it makes me wonder, "Why in the world will anyone create something so dangerous that if it's mistakenly released outside, it will endanger lives?" Is it just research? These things can be abused and used as a weapon as well. Hmm...this is the world.
