Ravi Zacharias has cancer of the spine; undergoing chemotherapy

You know Ravi Zacharias?

Yeah, he is worth knowing if don't know him. He is a world renowned Christian apologist and he has announced that he is undergoing chemotherapy to beat a malignant tumor on his spine which was discovered back in February.

He is now in Texas receiving treatment and looks forward to gradually seeing the disease amend.

“The Bible assures us that at all times God is with us. He is our comforter; He is our healer. He is our physician; He is our provider. He knows better than we do,” he wrote.

“While some nights have been painful, my heart has been at rest that this is all God’s plan. I want to be better; I want to be well. I want to be in His will and honoring to Him.”

*You know - life happens but irrespective of what we go through, God assures us of His constant Presence, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

He never said there won't be storms. He only guarantees us that He will be with us through it all (Isa 43:2). Our healing has been purchased in Christ. It is ours.

Let's keep Ravi Zacharias in our prayers. There's still much work for him to do.
