This is a virology lab in Wuhan China.

Some conspiracy theorists claim the Coronavirus could have escaped from there, an allegation the lab has long rejected, stressing that the virus came from animals.

The Wuhan Institute of Virology, which keeps more than 1,500 strains of deadly viruses, specialises in the research of 'the most dangerous pathogens', in particular the viruses carried by bats.

*This reminds me of Hollywood movies where scientists create dangerous viruses or pathogens or machines etc which ends up destroying the population.

And it makes me wonder, "Why in the world will anyone create something so dangerous that if it's mistakenly released outside, it will endanger lives?"

Is it just research? These things can be abused and used as a weapon as well. Hmm...this is the world.
