Happy resurrection everyone!
Yes, Jesus is alive and well. Hahahaha! Praise God. Death could not hold Him captive and today, in Him, through Him and because of Him, we can enjoy what Jesus achieved.
Did you know that what Jesus did, He did for you? It was for the benefit of the Church - you and me who believe in Him.
Let me show you:
"And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way."
Eph 1:22-23
We are seated with Christ far above every devil:
When Jesus died, we died with Him.
When He was buried, we were buried with Him.
When He was resurrected, we resurrected with Him.
And together with Him, we were made to seat in the heavenly places far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come (Eph 1:21).
"And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus..." (Eph 2:6).
Satan is disarmed:
When an opponent is disarmed, he becomes powerless. Yeah, through His death and resurrection, Jesus has disarmed the devil, but He didn't stop there. He made a public show, display, spectacule of the devil. Lol.
Jesus disgraced the devil and made him something to be laughed at. Yes, the same devil you are probably scared of. Lol. In Christ, Satan can't touch you unless you allow him. And one way you allow him is when you fear.
Fear opens you and me up to the devil. That's why it is important you should not fear. Fear is negative faith - faith in what the devil can do to you. But faith is when we take confidence in who God is and what He can do.
Knowing that Satan is no match for God; knowing that the devil has been disarmed by Jesus, we should not be afraid of him. He is powerless.
"When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He made a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His triumphal procession], having triumphed over them through the cross" Col 2:15.
Let's rejoice in this truth. We are victorious in Christ. Say to yourself over and over, "I am a victor not a victim. I am a victor not a victim..."
