Imagine knowing that you can recreate yourself, your looks, your body; that everything you need is just your money away, what would you do? Will you not abuse it? That’s what happens when men play God using cosmetic surgery.
Cosmetic surgery is trendy and on the increase. As the likes of Kim Kardashian gain more popularity, more women want to have her kind of body. In the U S alone, 15.6 million procedures was carried out in 2014 as people search for that perfect body to boost their sex appeal. If it’s not a facelift, it’s a nose job, lips filling, breast enlargement, butt augmentation or a liposuction…
With the availability of cosmetic surgery, more and more people grow insecure and dissatisfied with their body so they want it altered to look like something or someone they’ve always fancied. Unless it is to repair a damaged part of a person’s body (plastic surgery), why would someone want to alter their look?
It’s takes a thankless and unhappy person who doesn’t know his worth and believes that God makes a mistake (like He did in creating her/him) to go ahead and ‘enhance’ their body features. At the end of the day some are botched, some die and some survive with permanent injury.
Brazillian Miss Bum Bum 2012 nearly died due to routine thigh injections that went horribly wrong.
She said, “I knew that I'd left my body and died. I arrived in an empty place, like a desert, completely silent. That's when I knew that God exists. I felt his presence. I knew I was at the judgment. My life flashed before me like a film. I felt ashamed and knew I wasn't worthy to enter heaven. I asked for forgiveness and begged for another chance, promised to make amends."
Jessica Choi, an L A-based property manager, was also left feeling an overwhelming sense of regret after going under the knife (she had her nose and eyes done among other things).
She said, "I felt like I've sinned. I just kept hearing God's voice saying, 'Sweetheart, why would you do this? I made you perfect.'"
God NEVER makes mistakes. Lets learn to love and value our bodies and stop thinking less of ourselves. God knew exactly what He was doing when He knit you together in your mother’s womb.
