They claim that there are other 'lost gospels' including the 'Gospel of Eve' which preached free love, sex with multiple partners and the consumption of semen in sexual rituals...
These were deemed not to be accurate, or be of dubious origins – with titles such as Gospel of Judas, Gospel of Mary, and the Gospel of Thomas.
Some are claimed to hold secret holy teachings, but have been dismissed by the church as not fitting with the story and values of Jesus.
According to the tabloid, Daily Star Online, they have discovered one of the most shocking lost gospels – the Gospel of Eve and that this mysterious lost gospel that was allegedly destroyed by the early church could be a major bombshell for Christianity.
They say no one knows if a copy even exists anymore of the text, which was first mentioned by early Christian writers.
It is suspected to have been destroyed by the early church sometime in the 4th century – so more than 1,600-years-ago.
Christian writers claim the book preached free love, sex with multiple partners and the consumption of semen in sexual rituals.
Other famous "lost gospels" include the Gospel of Barnabas, that claims Jesus wasn't crucified.
"It is unlikely it would be accepted into the canon, having already been written off and destroyed, but it would be an important window into the early Christians," they wrote.
Ancient saint Epiphanius of Salamis is one of the few contemporary figures to write on the Gospel of Eve.
He describes it as being one of the sacred texts of a sect known as the Borborites – which literally translates into the “filthy ones”.
She has been subject of controversy, being claimed to be the wife of Jesus – despite never being described as such in the Bible.
The Gospel of Eve is said to have been used by the Borborites to justify free love and “pulling out” as a method of contraception.
They also allegedly consumed semen as a form of Communion, which in the Roman Catholic faith contains the ceremonial eating of bread and drinking of wine in a representation of body and blood of Jesus.
He wrote: "Man and woman, they pamper their bodies night and day, anointing themselves, bathing, feasting, spending their time in whoring and drunkenness.”
*The gospel of Eve? Lol. This is as demonic as it gets. The devil can't stop trying now, can he?
