Uncommon rainbow appears for 9 hours. Was it a sign in these last days?

A rainbow appeared in Taiwan for nine incredible hours leaving two scientists who discovered it shocked because rainbows typically last much less than an hour. 

The rainbow started at 6:57 a.m. and lasted until 3:55 PM, or 8 hours and 58 minutes beating the previous record set in Wetherby in Yorkshire, United Kingdom on March 14, 1994, which was recorded as lasting from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or six hours.

Rainbows are a powerful symbol in the Torah, the postdiluvian sign of God's promise to Noah that He would never again destroy the world through flooding.
