For some, Christmas is a time to get drunk. They call it Mad Friday in Britain and trust, the heavy boozing usually get out of hand.
It was dubbed Mad Friday because the night is traditionally when workers go out to celebrate the start of their Christmas holidays with colleagues, safe in the knowledge that they have the entire weekend in which to recover.
Mad Friday lived up to its name as rowdy revelers were tonight spotted fighting, urinating and collapsing in the street and policemen were assaulted.
Other drinkers were seen scuffling in the street as others vomited on the final Friday ahead of December 25.
Reports say drinking got out of hand across the country.
