Congregants being charged money to sit next to Pastor at dinner???

Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his church have been condemned following reports that his followers will be charged up to R25,000 to sit next to him at a gala dinner.

Some called Bushiri's dinner a scam. One tweeted, "R25,000 to dine with Bushiri. I am sure Jesus Himself is the surprise guest."

Another wrote, "Guys please protect your mothers and grandmothers from scammers like Bushiri. Hide their credit cards and car keys so they don't go pay R25,000 for a stupid dinner. God listens to our prayers even when we are sitting in our houses. God is everywhere."

*If this is true, then it's a pity. Smh. I remember the very first time I heard of Bushiri, when he claimed he walked on air and even put up a video on YouTube. You can check it out.

Jesus gave us a hint to distinguish the real and fake prophets and teachers, "By their fruits you shall know them." Matt 7:16-20. So you have no one else to blame but yourself if you don't recognize the kind of fruits your pastor is bearing.
