They are creating a robot god that people will worship, and a new religion known as The Way of the Future!

Now man is creating a god after his own image and imaginations! Smh.I will share this as reported by Daily Star.

A robot God is being created to head an entire new religion in a shocking move that will change faith forever.

Tech boffin and former Google and Uber executive Anthony Levandowski is creating the religion – called Way of the Future.

This religion will see super AI developed into a bot, which people will then worship.

People will be able to talk to “Godhead”, and he – or she – will even listen to you.

The religion’s activities will concentrate on “the realization, acceptance, and worship of a Godhead based on AI developed through computer hardware and software.”

“What is going to be created will effectively be a god,” Levandowski said.

“It’s not a god in the sense that it makes lightning or causes hurricanes. But if there is something a billion times smarter than the smartest human, what else are you going to call it?”

He added: “I would love for the machine to see us as its beloved elders that it respects and takes care of. We would want this intelligence to say, ‘Humans should still have rights, even though I’m in charge.’”

Revealing just how big this move is, he said: “There are many ways people think of God, and thousands of flavors of Christianity, Judaism, Islam.

“But they’re always looking at something that’s not measurable or you can’t really see or control. This time it’s different. This time you will be able to talk to God, literally, and know that it’s listening.”

The tech boffin admits the move might go down badly with followers of other faiths.
But he says: “There are probably going to be some people that will be upset.

“It seems like everything I do, people get upset about, and I expect this to be no exception.
“This is a radical new idea that’s pretty scary, and evidence has shown that people who pursue radical ideas don’t always get received well. At some point, maybe there’s enough persecution that justifies having its own country.”

*What story does this remind me of? *thinking* Hmmmm...a particular incidence in the Bible, what what what is that story? 

I think it's that story about the Israelites molding a golden calf and shouting, "This is the god that brought us out of Egypt!" 

 

They want a god who will allow them do what they feel like doing; a god who will say, and I quote, ‘Humans should still have rights, even though I’m in charge.’ Smh.
