When OAP daddy Freeze started his Free the Sheeple campaign, I thought he made a lot of sense.
Yeah, I liked the fact that someone popular would speak up against what most of the so called men of God are doing and disillusion the masses from their manipulations.
But until lately, the more I read his articles and opinions on certain issues like marriage, pre-marital sex etc, the more I see how faulty his belief is.
And that is one of the most dangerous form of doctrines. They start off sounding Christian and in between there are a whole lot of heresies that if you are not paying close attention and if you don't know the Scriptures, you'd miss them. Such is Freeze's belief. He has no straightforward answer to questions like 'Is pre-marital sex a sin?'
When an IG user told him concerning Freeze's woman, ‘Marry her and make ur union with her legitimate if you truly love her…That’s what’s expected of a man of God…’
Here were some of his replies:
"By the way, in the Free Nation, what we have today as ‘marriage’ is optional, because it has moved from what it was intended to be and has become a paper prison, where many are held in bondage, by mere words imprinted upon a piece of paper!
I’m not saying we will discontinue the traditional or legal type marriages, however, we will only make them optional, because instead of allowing God’s people to languish in fear and bondage we are here to set them free.

There is no where in the Bible and I repeat for emphasis; ABSOLUTELY NO WHERE, the rules and regulations for conducting a ‘christian wedding’ were laid down. What we have today are man made doctrines, that have evolved into traditions, based on the zeitgeist of this religious era, hardly on the teachings of Christ.
In other words, he feels marriage is optional and even quoted that Oprah Winfrey isn't married but she is happier and richer than the married.
On pre-marital sex he says the Bible doesn't condemn it and gave a long list of people in the old testament who had concubines.
When asked if it was a sin to masturbate or use sex toys, to this he replied:
Sincerely, I feel Freeze's spiritual pomposity is alarming, so also are the insults he throws around. Wow. I am no judge but I am told that we know them by their fruits and definitely that cannot be the Spirit of Christ!
Like I said, I like what Freeze doing in speaking up against the exploitative and manipulative nature of so called men of God but when it comes to sound, unadulterated doctrine, mba, he missed it and I really hope he realizes that.
My personal opinion though.

The religious righteousness in me wanted to tell him that masturbation is a sin and must never be engaged in, but where does that leave the 46 year old widow, who confided in me last year, that she had to buy a sex toy because her husband died, leaving her with 6 children and no man wanted to marry her, and instead of jumping from one man to the other, she decided to please herself?
Or an unmarried man at 35, when I know it’s unhealthy, according to empirical research, not to empty your prostate regularly, as it predisposes men to prostate cancer later in life? This is part of his replies. Another unclear cut answer to a direct question from an unmarried young man. Concerning sexual immorality, the Bible is pretty clear on it.

I was also impressed with him when he started with the #freethesheeplemovement# movement stuff because truly people were being manipulated and being deceived by this so called men of God. But just like you rightly pinpointed his views on marriage and fornication were disjointed and misleading.
