HAPPY NEW MONTH EVERYONE! I have a word for you...yes, YOU

I am extra excited! It's a new month; the 11th month. Wow wow! Time flew so fast! Can't believe it will soon be 2018.

Ah ah, didn't we just enter 2017 nau? Lol. Amazing. All thanks to God.

I started this year with a whole lot of expectations. I know you did too. You had your list of requests, of things you wanted God to do for you. Maybe you have gone through that list and none seemed to have come to pass but does that mean that God has stopped being God, that He no more answers prayers?

No! He still is and He is very much in the business of answering prayers. It may not be in your time or the way you want it, but be assured He must come through for you.

Count your blessings! You are alive today, breathing, eating; you are not in the hospital? You are strong? And you are reading this? Is it not enough to thank God? What of those who can't do what you are doing right now?

Even if it seems God has not responded to your prayers, hold on. Keep faith. Abraham waited for 13 years. Joseph waited for 13 years. David waited too. All the heroes of faith had their waiting periods.

It is in this waiting period that God preps us for the enormous task He has for us ahead. He takes us through the wilderness to test/groom our faith and bring the best out of us.

I am also in my waiting period. I get worried sometimes but then I remember how God has helped me in the past; I remember how He spares me and my loved ones everyday and I am all the more convinced He has a purpose.

Yesterday I told Him, "Lord, I trust Your plans. I may not understand it but I trust You completely."

I want you to say the same to Him. Trust Him, trust Him, trust Him. Don't give up.He will come through for you and I promise you, He will not be late!
