The list of America's most sinful cities was compiled by Wallet Hub.
They examined the presence of specific sins such as anger and hatred, jealousy, excess and vices, gambling, lust, vanity and laziness.
The researchers then broke down each category by looking at the effects of these sins.
For anger and hatred, they evaluated a city's violent crime rate, number of sex offenders and suicide rate.
