Showing off is a product of pride. But these rich kids don't just show off, they also go ahead to insult everyone outside their circle (the general public) and call us Peasants. 😪👀
They are literally throwing their exorbitant and wasteful lifestyle to our faces and saying you can never afford this. Smh.
To prove how extremely wealthy they are, they, for the fun of social media and proving their status, waste very expensive things.
From flushing expensive champagnes down the toilet to using a roll of cash as tissue papers, these people paint a picture of a perfect, enviable life.
I laugh at their foolishness and the vanity of it.
Solomon was the richest man to ever walk the face of the earth but this was his 'conclusion of the matter' after having tasted both sides of life: Fear God and keep His commandments; for this is the whole duty of man (Eccl 12:13).
I bet none of these incredibly rich kids (who I am sure have no inkling how their parents made their money in the first place) are half as rich as Solomon, hey?
It all ends here! They may be alive today and gone tomorrow and then what use will all their so called incredible wealth be when they die?
Vanity of vanities. All is vanity, like the Preacher (Solomon) said.
So when next you see people showing off their 'perfect' life styles on social media, don't be jealous. They may show off the physical but what they can't show off is their internal turmoils.
Money can afford anything material but it cannot by you joy, peace of mind or eternal life. Even with all the money in the world, one can still be miserable.
Seek for that which matters the most.
Jesus said that a man's life does not consist in the abundance of the wealth he possesses. (Luke 12:15).
