Worry comes when, in the midst of pressure or difficulty, we begin to focus more on our problems. Before we know it, those problems become like towering mountains way above us, looking monstrously insurmountable.
But there is a secret that if we heed, then worry will be a thing of the past. Look at it below and chew on it:
God wants to bring us to a point where we defocus on our present problems and focus on Him and the wonderful things He is doing for us.
Consider this:
You are alive and well
You are breathing
You are strong and not in the hospital
Your children nko?
You woke up this morning
You are able to eat
Every part of your body is functioning properly...
Surely, you didn't achieve these things by human feat. God did every single one of them.
So if you want to have all your needs met by God, the secret is simple: Give Him the first place in your life and live like HE wants you to.
Now the question is "Have you given God the first place in your life? Are you obedient to His Word?" If your answer is YES then not to worry, this too shall pass. God will definitely give you all you need because He knows you need them! A father cannot withhold any good thing from the child he loves.
Rather than focus on your problems, focus on God and thank Him for all the things He has done, He is doing and the all the things He is yet to do.
It's not easy but it has to be done. Let's always ask for God's grace to keep His Word.
