People injecting CO2 under their skin is the new cosmetic trend

They call it the carboxy-therapy where CO2 is pumped under the skin to treat stretch marks, loose skin, cellulite or dark circles under the eyes all in the effort to battle the natural effects of aging.

To do the carboxy-therapy, a fine needle is hooked up to a CO2 tank and gas is slowly pumped under the skin. The CO2 now under the skin causes a slight disruption in red blood cells due to the sudden overflow of CO2. Blood vessel expand, improving circulation to the oxygen deprived area and leaving the skin looking healthier and more youthful.

It is reported that the procedure isn't painful at all. All you'd feel is a tingling sensation.

Carboxy-therapy still remains a controversial beauty treatment and yet to be approved by FDA.

A doctor said it is capable of causing blindness when used around the eyes because of the danger of gas bubbles released into blood vessels.

Nothing wrong with taking care of yourself and looking beautiful but when you idolize it, become obsessed with it and are outrightly scared by the thought of aging that you spend so much money just to keep yourself looking sexy in the name of sex appeal...babe, you have a BIG problem.
