Mel Gibson is hatching a sequel to The Passion of Christ

Mel Gibson is said to be working on a sequel to The Passion of the Christ.


The  original film ended with Jesus walking out of the tomb but didn't go on to show what happened after resurrection. According to Foxnews.com, the sequel will focus on the resurrection and the events that occurred after Jesus was raised from the dead.

 The Passion of the Christ was released in 2004 and starred Jim Caviezel as Jesus Christ. It made $612 million world wide.
