A hit and run driver caught by police was distraught to learn that the woman and
child he had run over and left to die were his own wife and son,
according to reports.
The driver surnamed Zhang had reportedly
fled the scene of the accident without stopping - not realising that the
electric scooter he'd collided with was his wife's.
Zhang was later brought back to the crime scene leaving him in constant tears and wailing.
The boy was sadly declared dead after failed efforts to revive him and his wife remains in intensive care.
*Can you imagine that? Fleeing the accident scene without a single idea he hit his own wife and child? On doing so, he lost precious time that may have saved his son.
See how important it is to do unto others what you'd want them do unto you. When he was fleeing, he must have thought they were the wife and son of another and rather than do the right thing, he fled.
And yeah, the tables turned on him. Now he will spend the rest of his life regretting his actions, blaming himself and being blamed by his wife. Sad.
