Biko, what is the purpose of Big Brother Naija reality show?

For weeks I have been trying to find the right words to put together in summary my thoughts on Big Brother Naija. 

Yes, I am opposed to it cos whatever is happening there does not glorify God and I am a sucker for things that glorify Papa (I got this name from the movie, The Shack. I fell in love with how informal it sounds💗😃).

I don't watch it neither am I going to spend my one Naira on such a lewd, sexually immoral program via voting. 

 

Have you ever bothered to ask why housemates, male and female are paired? What's the intention? If bbnaija will do well in capturing it's audience, they need something catchy and what sells better than sex? 

 

So it's no co-incidence when housemates begin frolicking with themselves all in the name of winning a paltry amount of money. 

 

Eh! 45 million paltry ke? Yeah, cos that's what it is when compared with their eternity. Nothing is worth the prize of your soul. But hey, they say it's all a game, right? No, it's a revelation of who they truly are; this program opens our eyes to how easy, immoral and whorish the world is right now. 

 

 

You come into the house for just one day and you are already kissing someone who never knew from Adam, someone you just met?! Few days, you both are already having sex?! Big brother is the picture of what the world is and believe me, what's keeping that show alive is sex. 

Sometimes I imagine the kind of orientation the housemates are given before the show starts. "Be real, entertain the audience, be controversial." That's why an evicted housemate said that the reason why she was evicted was because she didn't have sex. Huh! Is it not obvious what this show is really all about?

Do you need a Seer to tell you the Big brother shows all over the world specifically promotes immorality and a loose lifestyle? God forbid that I'd in anyway support such demonic program that glorifies the flesh and not God. 

Even a girl who calls herself a church girl ended up having sex with a fellow house mate. They said it started in the toilet and proof shows that not everything sexual escapade in the big brother house is aired. 

 

People bath stark naked, engage in sexual games, masturbate, make out, fondle and have actual sex. How can you even do that when you very well know that millions of people, including your family are watching you?! It beats me really. 

 

That's how low we have fallen. In this world there is no shame. This is not just a game, it is the picture of the way the world really is - broken and shameless and yes, needing Jesus. 

 

It's a damaged world out there. Why withhold your light?
