The Church of England is faced with empty churches. One-person congregations. Ministers "dressed up with no one to listen".
It is reported that some ministers in rural parishes muse about facing one-person congregations or even entirely empty churches and having to adapt to new realities behind ever-dwindling church membership.
As regards to why it is so, someone insinuated, "With busy lives, and with "so much else going on," people are becoming more inclined to go to church "once a month, or several times a year, rather than every week."
Hmmmmm! This is terrible
ReplyDeleteOrthodox churches have lost to pentecostal churches. I'm sure in that same england people are still fill the pews in pentecostal churches. So why? Is it that they are not preaching what the people wants to hear like the pentecostals or what?
