Marilyn Monroe is an unforgettable name in Hollywood history, an iconic figure in American culture. In 1962, she was claimed to have died of drug overdose. Others wondered if she was murdered.
She was born Norma Jean to a mentally unstable mother and was put through series of foster homes. She was said to have been sexually abused as a child and according to a report, "...her early sexualization led to her inappropriate behavior as an adult."

At the age of 16, she got married to a man named Dougherty but they would later divorce in 1946. Marilyn was married two more times and divorced before her death.
Despite the fact that she seemed to have everything and that all seemed to be going on well for her, Marilyn was a troubled soul and very unhappy.
According to one of her friends, Jack Lemmon, "She was a very unhappy girl, though. She had a lot of problems, yet no one seemed to know what they were." She had drug problems, alcohol problems and man problems.

Marilyn was also insecure and had low self esteem issues. She would always find fault with her look and blame the make-up or she'd think she looked too fat. Compared to her co-popular star at that time, Elizabeth Taylor, whom it is said Marilyn was extremely jealous of her beauty, Marilyn's beauty was processed. She underwent aesthetic surgery, to change her name to Marilyn Monroe and to change her hair color to platinum blonde.
But while she loved being a movie star, Marilyn wanted a family of her own which she couldn't achieve after an ectopic pregnancy and several miscarriages.
Despite her fame and the people she was surrounded with she was a lonely soul, a good reason a close friend of hers felt she must have committed suicide. She was also involved with the then president JFK and his brother, Bobby.
Marilyn was said to be manipulated and mind controlled. She once came in contact with Anto LaVey, the founder of the church of Satan and there is a probability she had more than an affair with him.
The last months of Marilyn’s life were characterized by erratic behavior, strange anecdotes and several “intimate” relationships with high-powered individuals. As she was increasingly showing signs of serious mental distress.
Shortly before her death, God gave Marilyn a golden opportunity to receive Jesus, but he turned it down telling Billy Graham bluntly, "I don't need your Jesus."
Another event that occurred few days to her death was when Marilyn confided in her friend, Judy Garland, that she was scared. Unfortunately they never got to discuss why she was scared before Marilyn passed on.
She would later be found dead in her house by her psychiatrist, Ralph Greenson. She was aged 36.She was discovered lying nude on her bed, face down, with a telephone in one hand.
Her death was ruled as probable suicide, but the fact is there is a whole lot of mystery surrounding her death. Some said it was murder.
So Marilyn's death is one of the first mysterious Hollywood deaths. Think about this: how many of these Hollywood superstars have died mysteriously, and most often it is said to be drug-overdose? Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Prince, Amy Winehouse, to mention but a few.
That's why this keeps pointing to the dark-side of Hollywood. What actually goes on behind the scenes in the entertainment industry? Apart from the glaring occultism, satanism, there is also said to be mind control.
But why is Marilyn so special?
Marilyn Monroe is the ultimate sex symbol, embodying everything that Hollywood represents: glamour, glitz, and sex-appeal. She was the first playmate of Playboy magazine. Actually Marilyn didn't mind going nude in front of the cameras. And she did that a lot.
Her iconic sensual blonde persona forever revolutionized the movie industry and, to this day, is greatly influential in popular culture. She represents everything that is glamorous about Hollywood. I believe her persona is what women are copying. This game Kim Kardashian is playing, it was Marilyn that started it all.
I checked up a website and this is what they said about her:
'Marilyn was considered the most beautiful woman of her time, a sex symbol/icon. But she was more than that: she was a role model who showed young women that they could triumph over a troubled past and still grow up to be anything they wanted.'
