It's such a common thing to see celebrities and so called big boys and girls display their wealth and class on social media.
It's either you see them with their Gucci bags, or Gucci shoes or Gucci whatever, their wads of money, Rolex wrist watches, hot bods bla bla bla.
Everybody is trying hard to live up to the 'status'. Lol.
Sincerely, anyone who displays wealth on social media is immature, childish and like my pastor would say, has poverty mentality.
Why are you trying so hard to show us you are rich? What exactly is the use? What's the motive?
Someone goes to a night club and spends 2.5 million naira and he posts it on social media for the whole world to see. Believe me, that is poverty mentality.
You buy Gucci bags, then pose with them for the whole world to see you just bought them. Wow, you are poor even though you are rich.
He is the poorest of the poor who builds his world round the vanity of this world; around things that don't last.
These things don't stay forever. Once you are dead, that's the end of it. Why not gun for the things that will last instead? It takes a pride-full person to showoff on SM.
When I read the nonsense that people like Hushpuppi, Bobrisky etc spew on SM, I feel really sorry for them. They need to grow up seriously.
I feel sorry for any man or woman who places his confidence on material things and not on God. Sorry. You need Jesus to chase away that immature mentality from you.
Anyone seen Dangote or Bill Gates showing off their Rolex on SM? Now that's maturity. They don't need to put it up on SM for us to know they have; we know they do and seriously I don't care if they do because it adds nothing to my life.
But I guess it makes these 'babies' feel good and on top of the world, or prolly it's the only way they can feel relevant so their need to announce their lifestyle to those who care to know. Lol.
The things we live for. I'm just wowed. What exactly do you want to be remembered for? For flaunting your wealth on SM or impacting people's lives positively?
It's funny these kind of people can't even give someone 100 naira and even if they do, the whole world must hear it. Vanity!
