The man who leads the largest Roman Catholic Church in America is
advocating that the church allow married men to become priests.
McSweeney said he favors the Church allowing priests to be married, mentioning that he has been around many Protestant pastors who are married and "doing great work."
"And many men I was in the (Catholic) seminary with would be great priests today except for one thing," McSweeney said. That one thing is their desire to be married.
Monsignor John McSweeney, 75, who is originally from New York, is concluding 43 years of ministry in Charlotte, North Carolina.

*Seriously, I agree with him cos sincerely I think this imposed celibacy is exposing so many of them to perversions, sexual temptations and of course questionable secret lives.
Some of these priests secretly have children somewhere, molest younger ones, engage in homosexuality, pedophilia, pornography, fornication etc. We hear of such stories. Nuns and sisters are not excluded too.
For someone like Paul who remained celibate all through his life, it was his choice and he received the grace for it. He gave up on being married and automatically, on the joys of sexual pleasure in order to focus on God's work.
Celibacy should be optional not imposed.
