Two lesbian nuns tie the knot in Italy

I think it's preferable to call them ex-nuns because they had to renounce their vows in order to get married. 


Federica and Isabel were missionaries in Guinea Bissau who met and developed strong feelings for each other at a drug rehabilitation center and had since got married last year.

 They said it was better coming out than staying in the convent, hiding their relationship and living false lives.

 The pair were quoted as saying, “There are many such cases where priests or nuns hide their relationships with men or women.”
