Is anything wrong with this man? Seriously, e be like say this Kenyan lawyer no get job so he is trying to create one or he has plenty of time in his hands.
This sounds like a well cooked up joke, that someone is trying to sue Israel, Italy and other historical figures over Jesus' crucifixion, unfortunately it's not and this is his third attempt.
In 2007, Kenyan lawyer Dola Indidis first sued but his case was thrown out of the Nairobi court. In 2013, he came back again with the same case but this time he turned to the Intentional Court of Justice arguing that Jesus’ “selective and malicious prosecution violated his human rights through judicial misconduct, abuse of office bias and prejudice.” Again, his case was flung out.
This year, March 2017, he came back with the same petition to ICJ and it's very likely his case will be rejected yet again.
Apart from Israel and Italy, Dola is suing Emperor Tiberius, Pontius Pilate, King Herod and a number of Jewish elders.
According to the lawyer who said he is suing as a friend of Jesus, “I filed the case because it’s my duty to uphold the dignity of Jesus and I have gone to the ICJ to seek justice for the man from Nazareth. His selective and malicious prosecution violated His human rights through judicial misconduct, abuse of office bias and prejudice.”
