Two powerful ways to pray...(A must read)

Long before I got married, the Holy Spirit prompted me to pray for my hubby.

I had no idea who he was or who he was going to be neither was I even ready to be married at that time. Lol. I was just in my first year at the university, newly baptized in the Holy Spirit. So every night and day, as often as I could I prayed for hubby.

I didn't pray "Lord, give me a husband. Give me a husband when it is time cos I must marry at the right time." No. I prayed like I already knew who he was.

I knew by faith he was somewhere and that God will bring him to me at the right time. So I prayed like this instead, "Lord bless him wherever he is, whether he is in Nigeria or outside Nigeria. Guide him. Help him to keep himself like I am keeping myself for him. May he prosper in his ways..."

Going through my past, the Holy Spirit showed me two significant things in the way He led me to pray and I wish you can adopt it.

1. Pray ahead of time: Always pray ahead of time. It's one thing I do and it works for me. Today I am married to the most amazing man. Lol.So my prayer paid off.Up until now i have not stopped praying for him.

You may not be ready  to get married  now, still pray! Pray for your spouse, your children,your marriage etc. If you are married already, always pray for your spouse and everything that concerns you. Don't wait for things to go wrong before you do.Pray for your husband to love the Lord more and more. 

Pray for him to be a great father. Pray for his eyes to only for you. Pray against Seductresses literally found almost everywhere now. Ask the Lord to keep his heart  and mind away from them. Pray for his business, his work and his finances. Pray God that he be multiplied. Pray about everything even down to your sex life. Get God involved in whatever concerns you.

You  are still in school and you are not yet looking for a job, pray for that job, for your boss, for your future. Pray ahead of time and get God into that situation.

2. Pray for that thing you desire like you already have it. For instance, most of us spend a lot of time praying for a husband. We all should have a knowing that there is already a man God has prepped for us and he is somewhere. That knowing is faith! Key into that faith and pray for your God given husband. 

Pray for him like you already know who he is. Are you looking for a job now? Pray for that job like you already have it. You have already asked God for a job, yes? Good, now start praying for it like it's already yours.

Pray for the work environment, your superiors, your colleagues. That again is FAITH. God responds only to faith and...good news, faith works!

Right now there are things I am trusting God for. Sometimes it makes me feel down and sometimes I rant about them but at the end of the day, I know my faith in God is unshakable and He will do it in His time.

So this is a note to my Father and King, 'I TRUST WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND I LOVE YOU'
 
Pray in faith. Don't give up on God. He knows exactly what he is doing.
