Kathy Griffin posed with a mock-up severed head of Donald Trump and she was fired; her contract with CNN was terminated.
One of her colleagues, Chonda Pierce, said something about Kathy's ruined career that struck me so I had to go dig it up.
The lady said that Kathy Griffin started a downward spiral back in 2007. And it happened that in 2007 Griffin publicly cursed Jesus after winning an Emmy award.
During her acceptance speech in 2007, Griffin said, "A lot of people come up here and they thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus."
"He didn't help me a bit. If it was up to him, Cesar Millan would be up here with that damned dog," she continued. "So, all I can say is, suck it, Jesus! This award is my god now!"
Chonda Pierce believes Griffin's downfall reflects a deeper spiritual battle at play.
"In my neck of the woods, that's a spiritual warfare. You're inviting such evilness into your life. That's a danger zone for me," Pierce said.
*You know, the devil can never get over what Jesus did to him on the Cross of Calvary. So when people like Kathy Griffin curse Jesus, I am not surprised. Painful, yes, but still they are mere words. Jesus has won the victory. Let it keep 'peppering' the devil. If he wants, let him incite the whole world against the King, he can do nothing about what Jesus has already done!
Why do the nations conspire

Why do the nations conspire
and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth rise up
and the rulers band together
against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
“Let us break their chains
and throw off their shackles.”
The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
He rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
“I have installed my king
on Zion, my holy mountain.”
Psalm 2:1-6
