Foolishness or faith? Girl dies because her pastor grand-dad's 'faith' disallows modern medicine

Why do they keep doing this in the name of faith? For God's sake, faith does not stop you from getting medical attention.

While you are believing God for healing, go and get medical attention. God can still heal you using modern medicine. If you have tried modern medicine and all hope is lost, then you know you have done your part and then allow God do what medicine can't do.

A pastor, Jonathan Foster, 72, who rejected modern medicine for his foster daughter has been charged with manslaughter after the girl died of pneumonia.

From the Sun's cullage, Jonathan and Grace Foster told police they did not take their daughter to a doctor because their faith forbids any kind of medical treatment.

A pathologist said the toddler’s lung condition was easily treatable and if she had been gone to hospital she would almost certainly have survived.

The couple are facing trial for involuntary manslaughter and now the tot’s grandfather – who preaches faith healing instead of medicine – is also facing trial.

*Our first response to sickness (especially when it is serious) should not just be prayers alone. Get to the hospital whilst you pray. It is wisdom.

God can heal either ways, through prayers or medicine, but at the end of the day, it is God who takes the glory cos He was the One who really healed you!

Besides, God is the One who is behind modern medicine. This knowledge did not just come to men like that. He gave it to us for a positive reason, to bring healing not death.
