The emergence of a new "Gospel" has some questioning the authenticity of Christianity.
The so-called Lost Gospel which has been kept in Turkey, allegedly written by the apostle Barnabas (one of Jesus' disciples), claims that Judas was crucified rather than Jesus.
The book claims that:
Iran’s Basij Press claims that this could lead to the downfall for Christianity.
It says: “The discovery of the original Barnabas Bible will now undermine the Christian Church and its authority and will revolutionise the religion in the world.
Most scholars believe the book is fraudulent.
*Let me put it the way express.co.uk put it: 'A shocking claim could “collapse Christianity” as it puts one of the key claims of the religion under scrutiny.'
I actually laughed when I read that. Lol. Like seriously?! One thing Satan wished never happened was Christ's death cos he had no way of anticipating what was going to happen next.
Hahahaha! Jesus' death and resurrection spelt Satan's doom and till today he is working real hard to attack the very essence of Christianity; our core foundation.
Our Christian faith is futile without Jesus' resurrection. In other words, the new false gospel says that Christianity is a fraud since it was Judas and not Jesus who died. I laugh even louder. Hehehehe!!
Jesus (not Judas) died. We know the truth, even the father of lies, the devil, knows it and nothing, absolutely nothing will change that.
So it's up to you whom to believe - the Word of God or some Lost Gospel planted to discredit Christianity and drive people away from the saving knowledge of Jesus.
