Canned foods can actually cause cancer? I am sure that some of you already know this. According to research, Bisphenol A or BPA, a toxic chemical usually found in canned foods and beverage can-linings and even in poly carbonate plastics is the causative factor. Gretchen Salter, Senior program and policy manager at the breast cancer fund said that eating food from cans which is coated with BPA is a major route of human exposure.
BPA can leach into food content during microwaving or while washing with harsh detergents. It increases the risk of breast and prostate cancers, infertility problems, early puberty, neurological problems, damaged immune system, changes that promote obesity and ailments like type 2 diabetes.
Knowing this, why not eat less of processed foods and go fresh instead. Eat natural fresh foods-fresh vegetables and fruits. These natural, unadulterated foods keep cancer at bay.
