There is always something deeply spiritual about crossing over to a new year. Probably you crossed over in church? Tonight I didn't. Had to do mine at home because I suddenly developed a strong headache earlier today.
It's easing off already though. But still, no regrets crossing over at home. I actually just wanted to be quiet in the Lord's presence, to reminisce and re-dedicate my life and service to Him this new year. Hope you did same?

The new year is usually filled with new expectations; dreams waiting to be fulfilled. Go all out and do what you can do. Don't fold your hands and do nothing.
Things don't work themselves out unless you are doing something about them. For those you can't do anything about, give it up to God to make it all a reality.
May your dreams come true this year in the Name of Jesus. And while you are on that journey, remember that life is not a competition so don't live it comparing yourself to others.
So are you ready? Have you set your goals already? Do you already have a theme to run with this 2018? It's important we all get a sense of direction as we pass through the new year. Set your goal. Get rid of extra baggage (grudge, bitterness, hatred, worry etc). Get a theme from the Bible. Be determined to learn something new in 2018. Be resolute to know God better and better. Stay strong and in faith. God will come through for you.
