Couple sacrifice themselves in a satanic ritual

Lilia Botuseva, 23, and her boyfriend were found dead in their rented room on Greek holiday island Kefalonia.

Authorities believe the pair arranged to take their own lives own a New Year’s Eve satanic ceremony.
Coroner Angeliki Tsiola is believed to have sliced herself with a knife several times. She then died through bleeding caused by the wounds.

Her boyfriend, a 30-year-old German man, who has not been named, is believed to have died after stabbing himself through the chest while in the bath.

A satanic pentagram, knives and candles were discovered in their guest house room, indicating a ritual had taken place, authorities believe.

The ritual has also been linked to the first full moon of the year, which is often associated with satanic rituals and sacrifices.

Boutseva’s family had launched an appeal to find her last year after she went missing from her home in Bulgaria.

But the search was called off when she contacted police, telling them she was safe in Erfurt, Germany.

The pair are believed to have travelled to Kefalonia in a car with fake number plates from Germany.
