4 in 10 people in England don't realize that Jesus was a real person who actually lived, according to report.
Nearly 6 in 10 of the English population identify as Christians but fewer than 1 in 10 are practicing in terms of praying and reading the Bible regularly and going to church at least once a month.
Survey show that Christians who spoke to non-Christians about their faith did not always get a positive response.
Study by Evangelical Alliance and Church of England found nearly 6 in 10 people did not want to know more about Jesus, only one-fifth wanted to after a practicing Christian shared their faith with them.
Nearly half of the non-Christians said they were 'not open' to an experience or encounter with Jesus and nearly one-third actually felt uncomfortable.
