Pop singer Justin Bieber is turning away from his previous bad-boy reputation. The singer has reportedly apologized for his past behavior, reconciled with his mother, and was baptized last year.
The 21-year-old singer has now cited scripture and written about his relationship with God in an Instagram post.
Bieber quoted Psalm 43 writing, "Vindicate me, my God, and plead my cause against an unfaithful nation. Rescue me from those who are deceitful and wicked."
He continued, "I'm not religious nor do I think I have ANYTHING figured out that's why I call out on God to help me through what I can't do on my own. Developing my relationship with God has been the coolest thing I've experienced, to know that I'm not alone and I don't have to live in fear."
The singer added that he didn’t want his fans to feel that he was pushing his faith on them but instead "sharing the good news I've felt in my own life."
The post received over 1 million likes and fans left thousands of supportive comments, according to Christian Today.
