How will you rate Goodluck Jonathan?

Finally! A new government! Haba!It's high time abeg. Seriously,I was one of those who needed what I called 'a breath of fresh air' not because I hated GEJ as a person but simply because I longed that we try out something new cos e be like say GEJ's government don run out of ideas and the corruption was stifling.I personally believed that we needed a change of hands , a change of ideas for something new and different to happen to Nigeria. It was not a question of religion, it's was about putting Nigeria into new hands.

As for the question of whether Buhari is capable, I do not know so I guess we will all sit back and watch while we also pray daily for the new Government.
So, how will you rate GEJ? Has he done well or poorly? Though some rate his administration as poor, yet there is one thing he won't be forgotten for and that made him a hero not just in Nigeria but internationally.He won't be forgotten for conceding to defeat and thereby averting outbreak of violence in Nigeria which definitely would have led to loss of lives and properties.Rather, by his actions, he allowed peace to reign. Yes. Those actions won't be forgotten. In fact it is written down in the annals of history.
Nobody is perfect. GEJ may have failed in some places and yet he did well in some other things. But Nigeria's situation was just so desperate that it simply needed a desperate action to be taken because it appeared like GEJ's administration wasn't doing much to save the situation. Maybe a new government with new tactics to come in and save the day? Will that be the answer to our impending problems?

I thank God for the shy smiling GEJ. He is a hero and a good man.It may have been for the purpose of averting violence in Nigeria that God put him there in the first place. For the new administration under President Buhari, let's keep praying for them as we hope for a new dawn in Nigeria.
