A Prof went to get a haircut and engaged the Barber in a conversation:
Prof: If God is a exists and is a loving God like you people claim, why this so much pain and suffering in the world?
Barber: Sir, do you know that with all the Barbers available to cut people’s hair and make them look good, that there are still people who go about with long, unkempt hair in this city?
Prof: Yes, I know.
Barber: Is it because there are no Barbers available?
Prof: (Shaking his head) No
Barber: There are Barbers everywhere waiting to take care of people’s hair but it is purely the people’s decision to come to the Barbers to cut their hair. The Barbers can’t force them to come to them.
Prof: (Thoughtfully) Oh kay…
Barber: It’s the same thing with God. He is always there, reaching out and waiting, just like the Barber, to make life beautiful for man, but until man on his own accord and decision approach Him, He can’t help them. Man has to allow Him work on him. But with all this sin and rebellion, man has clearly rejected God’s call.So how can God be responsible for this?
Prof: Hmmm.
