Family Worship Centre Wuye thanks God for Goodluck Jonathan

The Senior pastor of FWC Wuye Abuja,Pst Sarah Omakwu said some very powerful things today in church that I was moved to share. Today was just a Sunday dedicated to giving thanks and praises to God for a peaceful handover to a new government which happened few days ago, on the 29th of May(Democracy day).
After a hitch free election and a hitch free inauguration,people rejoiced because no life nor property was lost through it all. Pastor Sarah said:
"Nigeria is at peace because of Jesus. You go to Babangida and he says, "To hell with them." You go to Goodluck Jonathan and he says,"I give it up." With the little Jesus in him, he did what Babangida couldn't do. With all the military at his disposal yet he allowed peace to reign. Can we give thanks to the Lord for Jonathan..."
She went on to enjoin everyone to take out time within the week to pray for the out-gone President, Goodluck Jonathan. The service was spiritually riveting and I enjoyed myself...as usual. FWC is really a place to be. I'm digging it *all smiles*
