‘I am a 49-year-old man looking for a female to clean my flat nude. I am not looking for sex, but *some touching* – details to be discussed. I am attractive and educated,’ wrote a man based in Battersea.
‘Wanted for one afternoon, a naked cleaner who also looks after my body with oils and assisted shower. I’m a mature guy who likes big boobs,’ wrote another man in Clacton.
Many look for naked cleaners or are willing to work as one entirely ethically and without any hint of abuse or pressure.
But some of the testimonies tell a very different story.
Clive*, a 56-year-old man in Oxford who advertised for, ‘a young lady to do some cleaning either nude or in her underwear’.
‘I prefer my ladies slim and petite, preferably young, 18-25,’ he says.
For hoovering, dusting and ironing, Clive offers, ‘£50 if they do it in underwear and £80 if they do it nude’.
And he is clear about their duties.
‘The purpose of them being there nude is for me to watch,’ he says. ‘I wouldn’t follow them around, but if they’re ironing, I’d sit there watching.’ He adds that he may masturbate and, ‘sometimes I take it further’.

The third man, Steve*, is in his mid-50s and he’s booked naked cleaners every two or three weeks for the last 10 years. He tells me his preferred age is mid-20s:
‘It’s nice to look at pleasant scenery – I’m not going to book a 60 year old granny,’ he says.
Advertising on Craigslist, Steve snaps up ‘students looking to make a bit more money,’ he spills.
‘Mostly guys, a few girls, and one transsexual – I’m an equal opportunities employer!’
Steve, who tells me he is bisexual, offers £25-an-hour, ‘but that generally applies to guys. Girls are more expensive’.
He believes a naked cleaner is an open-minded cleaner:
‘You won’t get many nuns or Mary Whitehouses applying for the job!,’ he says. This is important to Steve because he likes to be naked himself, and, he’s ‘a single guy, so if they come across a porn DVD lying on the table, they’re not going to go, “meurgh-erugh”,’ he says, making a mock-crying noise.

So far she’s had three bookings from an ad she placed on Craigslist. She tells me she’s stomached undressing in strangers’ houses by, ‘feeling detached from it. I go, do what’s necessary, and leave’
And it’s that coldness that helps her get through the situation:
‘I don’t stand there and do feelings because if I think about it I won’t do it – and that’s not really an option,’ she says.

‘I told him I’d do it when I need to pick things up,’ she says. ‘I told him I’m here to clean.’ What if she gets a client who won’t take no for an answer?
