The world is fast changing. Everything is tilting towards the abnormal including people's perspective of sex, marriage and God. God created everything and gave us instructions on how best to use them but man in his rebellion discards His instructions and rather opts for his own. One word for it is rebellion.
In a recent survey done in Canada, 53% of the participants said it's not necessary for couples to tie the knot if they want to spend the rest of their lives together, and one in six participants said they're not interested in the milestone at all.
Someone said concerning the issue, "You see really significant numbers of people across those age demographics who are not convinced of the importance of marriage, whether it is civil or religious; who are not convinced of its relevance; and who are not convinced of its necessity or relevance even when there's a child involved.
"A generation ago, the idea of living together — but not married — was living in sin. The social taboo associated with being together and unmarried has all been but erased.
"Other issues, including finances and the cost of weddings, are also concerns for millennials that may lead to putting off or rejecting marriage altogether."
Believe it, this new perspective on marriage isn't just in Canada.
*God instituted marriage, not man. For family to be established, it has to start at the foundation called marriage. Marriage is the foundation of the society, and what happens to the society when that foundation is destroyed?
That is the foundation the devil is working so hard to destroy: illicit affairs, adultery, domestic violence, divorce etc is making marriage scary and less interesting. People are beginning to wonder "who marriage epp?", "why marry sef when you can live-in and have children?", or just have children without being tied to just one person.
But this is not God's will. This is never His intention. He created marriage to be beautiful and the right foundation upon which we can build our society.
Do you see us pushing God away from our society because we want to do what appeals to us? Do you see?
