There are antichrists and there is 'the' Antichrist. And from my Bible, the Antichrist is not a fictitious figure but a real person who will emerge in the end time and seem to have answers to the world's problems.

With all the chaos in the world and as the world is the quest for world peace, he will present himself as someone whom the world can trust.

By selling their souls they submit to Satan so that he totally uses, enslaves and possesses their life, body, mind, will and soul. Satan's goal and agenda becomes theirs.
