"I love money."

Wow. Thank God I am back. Been away for a while and was so busy I had no time to blog these past few days.
I sat with with a cousin I had not seen for over 12 years and I asked him, "What is your prospect in life? What's most important to you?"

 "Money," he replied. "I love money."

 "Really? Like, is that all you want to live for?" I pressed.

 "Yes," he quipped, smiling gently at me. Then he went on, "Do you know that even the Bible says that money answers all things?"

 "Of course!" I replied in the affirmative, "Money answers all 'material' things but for the 'immaterial' things, no."

 I explained further,

 "You can buy the whole Nigeria if you have money but surely money can't buy you joy, peace, eternal life or even a good wife. Some people have all the money, yet they can't sleep at night.

So you see why you need to put God first and watch all these material things naturally follow you? Pursue God, not money."

 And I hope he understood.

Please put God first in everything you do and all these things shall be jara.
