Pervs send pictures of their manhood to unsuspecting victims by cyber flashing

iPhone's Airdrop facility has made cyber flashing possible. Cyber flashing is when a pervert sends frank pictures of his manhood to an unsuspecting victim. This is possible if the victim's iPhone's Airdrop facility switched on.Normally, this allows users to transfer files between devices.

It has given rise to concern because now some pervs use the technology for sex attacks. For instance, Lorraine Crighton-Smith was minding her own business on a busy train in South London, when she was suddenly targeted by a flasher. A cyber-flasher had anonymously sent her a penis picture using his iPhone's Airdrop facility. The 34 year old felt 'violated' after seeing the picture.

To protect one's self from cyber flashing simply switch off the Airdrop facility. This option can be found in the iPhone's Control Centre, which can be accessed by swiping up from the very bottom of the screen. Press Airdrop and then select off .
