OMG! Dirty things happening in church

The stories we hear happening right in the church can make you cringe. I will share few of it and make my points as usual. Now, I am not putting myself in a position to judge, no. I just want to say the truth in love and encourage us to pray for the Church. Let these stories provoke your spirit to pray for your Pastors and your brethren. Truly, judgement will start in the house of God.

A church worker was said to have been caught molesting children kept under his care and trust. He was excommunicated from the church with the instruction that no member of that church should have anything to do with him.

In another gist, a pastor of very popular church (I won't tell you where) is said to have lots of sex scandals trailing his persona. People who knew him before he became a pastor knew him as a conc womanizer, a typical play boy. But despite becoming a pastor, his reputation with women still precedes him.

According to source, he prefers getting down with innocent girls who won't spill. They say he is worded(even the devil is worded too). A member of his church said that the Pastor is so worded that you will even forget he has scandals trailing him. They say his womanizing is so bad he could counsel someone via the phone while having sex with another woman (he is married).

If a church is aware that their Pastor has such scandals yet they feel comfortable sitting under his ministration, never even investigated nor confronted him but rather choose to hide such abominations in a shroud of holiness, does it not show how complacent the church has become? It makes one wonder what kind of congregation this church has. Won't there be immorality on every level? Do they really know what salvation is?

So much is going on within the walls of the Church. But getting to know these things isn't meant for us to gossip about it and pass it on to the next person, rather it is meant to keep us alert to the signs of the times.

Pray for your Pastor. Pray for the Church. Look to no one but Jesus. He alone is your standard not your Pastor.
