'Jediism', a new religion based on Star Wars drawing Christians away in Turkey

“Jediism,” a religion based on the popular Star Wars films is on the rise in Turkey and Turkish authorities are cracking down on them because it's against their Islamic teachings. It's adherents are said to be more prominent among Christians.

Turkish authorities were alarmed when, four months ago, students from a Turkish university launched an online campaign to have a Jedi temple be built on their campus.
 
So what's this Jedi Church all about? I pulled this from their website jedichurch.org :

The Jedi Church believes that there is one all powerful force that binds all things in the universe together. The Jedi religion is something innate inside everyone of us, the Jedi Church believes that our sense of morality is innate. So quiet your mind and listen to the force within you!

One of them explains the force as magic (as some people call it), ashe, or that energy Moses used to part the red sea.

This so called Church of Jediism was founded in 2008 by 23-year-old Daniel Jones with his brother Barney.

*Ignorance of God's Word makes one a candidate of deception in these last days. Satan's greatest weapons to draw Christians away from the Truth are deceptions and distractions. Don't be misled.
