A must read: The Habit of ‘Everyone’

Virginity has become obsolete and a mere act of naïvity in today's society. When a young man is never seen hanging out with girls, people around him consider him either strange, a homosexual or that something is medically wrong with him. Why? Because sex has become the habit of 'everyone'. Even children are not left out in sexcapades. So you become strange or pretentious when you say you are not doing it when everyone is! That's the popular mentality. The society thus puts so much pressure on people and make them believe they don’t belong until they have tasted the ‘forbidden fruit’. Does this paint a familiar picture? There was the serpent offering Eve the forbidden fruit. “You will be like God” , he said. She gave in and offered to her husband also who partook of it. Their eyes were opened and their glory taken. Same thing is happening today. It’s history repeating itself. Thus , the world considers it that your eyes are not opened until you partake also. It’s nature, they claim.
Right in the Church, same stories are heard. Stories of incest, adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality, pornography etc. So who then can escape the wave of lust that is sweeping through the whole world and bringing so many mighty men down to their knees? Will God’s Word now change to suit the changing times? Sex is everything right now. How many can stand before God and say they are sexually pure?
This reminds me of the ‘Remnant’, the Few, the Chosen, the Separated, that 7000 men in Israel (the Church) who have not bowed to Baal nor kissed his feet. They are the Josephs of our time who have made the choice to stay sexually and morally pure no matter the pressure because they love and fear God.Men who depend not on their strength but God's to keep them from falling.
Where is this Remnant? They are the Bride Jesus is coming for that is without spot or wrinkle. Are you part of it?

    That's the world we have come to live in, you know, humans will fall and term it that the standard has fallen. It's quite unfortunate. But I must assure you, the standard are very much there. Am Uzo by name
