This miracle baby grew outside the womb (Photo)

In what seemed like some sort of ectopic pregnancy, this baby grew within the mother's abdomen and not inside the womb. 

Russian doctors say it is 1 in 625 million case, that there are not more than a dozen of such cases in the world.


 Despite not being in the womb, the fetus was in a protective amniotic sac and surrounded by normal fluid for protection.

The baby name Veronika was conceived naturally and arrived on March 21 through an emergency surgery.

It is believed that the mother’s fertilized egg initially implanted in her Fallopian tube from where it was expelled and then implanted in her abdomen.
