A 22 Y-O woman, Sitora B, in a bid to live-stream her drive to work only succeeded in live-streaming her death.
It was a pure case of distraction while driving.
Sitora had propped up her phone on the dashboard while she livestreamed her drive to work. Again and again she keeps looking down at the phone’s screen thereby not paying attention to other traffic.
The Sun reports that suddenly, with a sickening crunch, the car starts shaking and the phone apparently falls to the floor.
With one look of terror towards the phone, Sitora seems to realize what is happening but then the screen goes blank.
Here's what happened - Sitora’s Daewoo Matiz was hit so hard by a bus that she had been hurled from the driver’s seat, across the car, and halfway through the front passenger seat window.
It is reported that she had not been concentrating on the traffic and had drifted across lanes where she was T-boned by the bus.
The impact was so great that the tiny Daewoo is almost crushed in half.
Sitora B was killed on Thursday morning in Russia.
*This is rather sad. People should be careful when driving. Sometimes you see people texting and driving, answering phone calls while driving, watching videos while driving and now it's livestreaming while driving. You have only one life, please don't toy with it.
This reminds me of a movie, Seven Pounds (hope I'm correct) with Will Smith as the main character. He was texting and driving while he and his wife were on their way to somewhere. His actions resulted in a head on collision that killed his wife...and somehow 'killed' him because he was never able to forgive himself for causing his wife's death.
