A former porn star left her £250,000-a-year career after a car crash helped her find God.
Crystal Bassette, who starred in more than 100 porn films, transformed her life after receiving a DWI (Driving While Impaired).
On This Morning, she admitted to crying for two hours in the shower and feeling "dirty and disgusting" after porn shoots, but needed the money to raise her son.
The mother of three has now married church minister David and is working to help women in abusive relationships and drug addicts in New York.
Speaking about shooting porn scenes, Crystal said:
"I felt horrible, I sat in the shower after my scene for two hours just bawling my eyes out crying. I just felt dirty and nasty and disgusting."
Crystal, who claimed she has no regrets about her past, was dropping her son off at school before going to the porn set.
She described how she took painkillers and drank alcohol to numb the pain and forget what was happening to her.
Crystal said: "I started to go to church on Easter Sunday and it was a transformation.
"That Easter Sunday I got down on my knees and was praying to God, and God was releasing me from everything that was going on in my life at the time.
In May I had a car crash and got a DWI and that was a wake-up call that I had some underlying problems that I had to deal with."
Her husband David was asked if he found Crystal's past difficult to deal with as a man of God.
Pastor David said: "The scriptures say where there's much forgiveness and much love, if God forgives her and forgives her past and I'm supposed to be an imitator of Christ I have to do the same.
It didn't happen instantly, it was a work in progress then I had to do that too.
As a man of God you have to recognize the fact that people don’t change in a day."
